Our Discussion Forum
Our members-only discussion forum has been a valuable source of information, help and support for families and loved ones affected by another person’s substance misuse. We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to and used the forum over the years.
A note on new registrations
Unfortunately, due to a current lack of volunteer resources to moderate the forum safely and responsibly, we have made the difficult decision to pause new user registrations until further notice. We want to ensure that this space remains safe and supportive for all, and without adequate moderation in place, we are unable to accept new members at this time.
Existing registered members can continue to access and use the forum as normal.
Looking for support right now?
If you are a family member or loved one affected by someone else’s substance misuse, we would warmly encourage you to consider attending one of our Families Anonymous group meetings. Many people find that meeting others face-to-face — or online — who truly understand what they are going through can be incredibly valuable, often more so than an online forum.
Our groups are free to attend, welcoming, and completely confidential. You do not need to register in advance for most meetings — you can simply turn up.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes, and we hope to be in a position to reopen forum registrations in the future. Thank you for your understanding.
